We come from all walks of life. We are builders, teachers, students, care workers, and the unemployed. We are those who believe that the current state of affairs cannot continue. We do not look to some outside force to create the conditions for our independence. No politician, Democrat or Republican, can represent our cause.

Capitalism is a global social relation that entraps all of humanity.
Capitalism can only be overcome by workers themselves, and the interests of workers must not be subordinated to any others.
Workers must build power explicitly as workers across social and cultural divides.
The ILC is not a political party, a union, or a protest movement, but a pre-political base for building class consciousness and the capacity to act within civil society.
